Junior Demographer Awards:

- Candidates are expected to be a recent recipient (within 5 years) of an advanced degree in a subject related to population.
- Applicants for the junior demographer award should be IUSSP members (nonmembers can apply)
- Each candidate for the award must be sponsored by two academic references. (To avoid the appearance of conflict of interest, the sponsoring members should not be members of the Scientific Panel organizing the meeting.)
- In the case of equal qualifications, preference will normally be given to a candidate from a developing country.
