The IUSSP has an active Publications programme that began almost 25 years ago with the first volume by Louis Henry published by Ordina Editions. This series now comprises over thirty volumes, some of which are out of print. The IUSSP entered into an agreement with the Oxford University Press to produce a number of volumes in a Series called 'International Studies in Demography'. As of December 2002, 43 volumes have been published in this Series.

In addition to these formal Publications, the IUSSP routinely publishes the Proceedings for the General and Regional Conferences and IUSSP Seminars.

The IUSSP publishes occasional papers presenting longer research reports and studies of methodological interest, as well as a Bulletin which is sent to all members three times a year.

The IUSSP also has a Series of Policy and Research Papers aimed at reaching policy makers, civil servants of organisations involved in population activities and scientists from other disciplines. These Policy and Research Papers are now published on this Web Site along with reports and working papers of IUSSP seminars.
