Marrakech 2009 at a glance

Participants: 2,106 registered participants (more than 2,300 including NOC invited guests)

• Gender: 1,000 women (47.7%), 1,092 men (52.2%).

• Age: 501 participants aged below 34 (24%); 941 participants below the age of 45 (45%).

• Affiliation: 70% affiliated to research centres and universities and 22% affiliated to national
   governments, international organizations and civil society institutions involved in public policy
   formulation and implementation.

• IUSSP Members: 1,371 (65% of participants): 1,009 members and 362 student members.
