Conference registration

• All persons attending the Conference must register online individually.

• Registration is not final until fees have been paid.

• Registered participants will receive a registration confirmation by email (to print and bring to the Conference).

• Early registration is advised since registration fees increase after 15 July 2009. (Payments must be postmarked before 15 July).

• Registration fees are non-refundable.

Forms of payment

Registration fees can be paid by the following:

• 1) Credit card via a secure server, in Euro.

• 2) Cheque in Euro or US$ payable to IUSSP.

• 3) Institutional payment (Please refer to the additional information below).

Conference registration will not be finalized until the IUSSP receives full payment of the registration fee. Once your payment has been received, you will receive a registration confirmation by e-mail (to print and bring to the Conference).

Additional Information

Online payments by credit card: You will be able to pay online via our secure server. You will receive an e-mail confirming your registration and your payment (to print and bring to the Conference).

Payments by cheque: You will receive an invoice for your payment by email. Please print and send this invoice together with your cheque made out to “IUSSP” to the IUSSP Secretariat. Payments sent without the invoice cannot be processed. You will receive an e-mail confirming your registration and your payment (to print and bring to the Conference).

Payments by institutions: Participants must first register online.

For an individual participant, the institution must pay by sending the invoice together with the cheque as described in the above "payments by cheque" section

For a group of participants, the institution should:
1. collect all indidividual invoices,
2. establish a list of all the participants' names, registration reference numbers and fees,
3. and send the invoices and the list, along with a cheque (made out to "IUSSP") to the IUSSP Secretariat.

Institutional bank wire transfers are possible for 4 or more participants. As above, the institution should establish a list of all the participants' names, registration reference numbers and feens and then contact the conference assistant at iussp2009admin@iussp.org for payment.

Please note that for International Wire Transfers made from outside France, wire transfer processing fees apply: 25 US dollars (20 Euros).

To benefit from the early fees, payments by institutions must all be received at the IUSSP Secretariat by 15 July 2009 at the latest.

Important: if a cheque is emitted by a third party or by your institution, please ensure that your registration reference number appears on the cheque. You will receive an e-mail confirming your registration and your payment (to print and bring to the Conference).

Specific Case

Accompanying persons: Participants can request registration of an accompanying person only after they have registered themselves. A downloadable form will be made available to registered participants, which should be completed and sent to the IUSSP Secretariat with the payment. Accompanying person’s registration is conditional upon their not appearing on the scientific programme and can therefore not be paid online.
