The Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) is pleased to invite submissions for its ZEW Workshop on “Assimilation and Integration of Immigrants” in Mannheim on October 13 to 14, 2016.

The aim of the workshop is to bring together international researchers from the field of migration research for a two day event of intense scholarly exchange. There will be paper presentations allowing the participants to present and discuss their current work, and get advice from other participants. Scholars who wish to attend the workshop are invited to submit a paper. We encourage contributions from all areas of economics.

A maximum of 20 participants may attend the ZEW Workshop on Assimilation and Integration of Immigrants. The standard conference fee is EUR 200. Participants presenting a paper will pay a reduced fee of EUR 100. Following notification of acceptance, presenters may apply for financial support from ZEW to cover travel expenses. ZEW will also cover accommodation costs for presenters. Researchers interested in presenting a paper should submit a full paper version (preliminary versions are welcome) and a CV no later than August 1, 2016 to migration2016@zew.de.
