Abstract submission for the RC28 Spring Meeting 2017 in Cologne, Germany, is now open until October 31, 2016.

We particularly invite papers on the core theme of the conference "Social Inequality and Mobility Revisited. Challenges Through Recent Demographic Trends“. Contributions on broader issues of social stratification, inequality and mobility are also welcome. Different panels will focus on the topics of education, employment, income, poverty and wealth, health, migration, race and ethnicity, fertility and partnership, and more.

Submissions should include a short abstract of no more than 200 words and an extended abstract of 750 to 1,000 words that includes a clear-cut research question, theoretical framework and hypotheses, information on data and methods and the main (or expected) findings; please select up to 2 topics provided during the submission procedure. All submitted contributions will be subject to a peer review process. Submissions are limited to two per person.
