The Association of American Geographers invites you and your members to join us in San Francisco, California, for our next Annual Meeting, March 29 - April 2, 2016. Sessions will be organized across the full range of geography topics including:

 

  • UAVs and Geospatial Privacy

  • Geographies of Health Globalization

  • Climate Change

  • Migration and Immigration

  • Geography Education

  • Human Geography

  • Geographic Information Science, and Technology

  • Physical Geography

  • Urban Geographies

  • Social Justice

 

Researchers, scholars, professionals, and students are welcome to present papers, posters, and panel discussions on all topics relevant to geography. The call for papers and registration will open July 31, 2015. Abstracts are due by October 29, 2015.

 

The 2016 AAG Annual Meeting also will feature a large and dynamic Jobs & Careers Center, an International Networking Reception, and an Exhibit Hall showcasing the latest scholarly publications and advanced geographic technologies. Many educational field trips will explore the rich cultural and physical geography of San Francisco and the Bay Area.
